Each language model has a date up to which the model was trained on various data sources. After this date, the model's knowledge of world events becomes limited. For Gemini 1.5 models this date is November 2023, for Claude 3 Haiku it’s August 2023, and for Claude 3.5 Sonnet it’s April 2024.

Initially, all calculations for using ChatGPT are made in tokens. Approximately we can consider that for English 750 words = 1000 tokens (for other languages this value may differ). The number of tokens passed in a request is also considered an expense.
